What do you do with my images and videos?

All images and videos are held on our server. They are not given to any third parties.

Do you give my personal information to third parties?

During registration you have the option to select if you are happy for takeUon to provide your email and contact details to third parties who might be interested in contacting you directly. You cannot go through the registration process without making a choice. If you do not tick a box we will assume that you do not want your information provided to third parties.

Why can I only vote once?

It wouldn't be fair in a contest to let people have more than one opportunity to vote. However, there's no harm in encouraging your friends or people you don't know to vote for a particular entry whether it's yours or someone elses.

I didn't get an email link after I registered?

If you have checked your junk/bulk mail folder and the message is not there, there could be several reasons why you have not received your email:

• The email address submitted was incorrect
• A spam filter at your Internet Service Provider (ISP), who you use for email, has classified our email as junk and stopped it getting to your email box
• The mail server at you ISP was temporarily unavailable

If you have not received your email after a couple of hours, you can try to register again with the same details.

I've created a contest but want to change the image or video?

You have a chance just before submitting your contest to check your material. Once you have submitted your contest it will be live on the site. If you urgently want to withdraw your image or video please contact us.

I pressed the vote button but I've changed my mind?

takeUon makes sure you are absolutely clear about the entry you vote for. That's why we confirm the entry before you can submit your vote. Once a vote is submitted we cannot retract it.

I've seen some very offensive material

Users submit entries to contests under the agreement of our Good Site Conduct . We remove material that is abusive as quickly as we become aware of it. This is done through us checking the site but also the community using the ‘report abuse' button attached on every entry.

Every entry submitted and showing on the site, whether active or in archive, can be reported as abusive. Just click the ‘Report Abuse’ button. Please use this immediately if you think the image or video does not meet our Good Site Conduct. takeUon constantly scans for inappropriate/offensive material too.

I've seen images or videos that aren't relevant to the contest

Please report this by using the 'Report Abuse' button. It's a quick way to alert us to material that may not be relevant. It could be a user has uploaded the wrong entry or users are just having some fun. Using this facility means we can remove anything that spoils the fun of others and ensure that users' material is showcased in the best possible way.

I've selected Add to my favourites. Where are they?

Favourites are held in 'my takeUon' for you to view, shortlist when voting or remove. My favourites makes it quicker and easier for you to find the images and videos you like on the takeUon.com site.
